Ep 3: Alien Contact - Radio Signals and Golden Records Science Fact or Fiction?

    • Ciencia ficción

This week we discuss the amazing scientific and cinematic masterpiece that is Contact, based on Carl Sagan’s book of the same name. We debate the likelihood of alien contact, gush over how kick-ass Jodie Foster's character is and look at the galaxy and our place in it.

We talk numbers, what's the likelihood of us finding aliens or aliens finding us. It's an awfully big galaxy out there. Maybe somewhere there is an alien tuning into our radio signals on their commute to work.

As Arthur C. Clarke once said, “two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.”

Intro Music by Woody Rolph.
