Amos Izerimana is a Burundi-born peacebuilding practitioner. He is committed to capacity building for developing communities and holds interests in human rights, Transitional Justice, and Pan-Africanism. Amos is a graduate of the United Nations-mandated University for Peace, Brandeis University, and Berea College.
Amos is the Globalization Program Manager at Louisville Forward, part of Louisville Metro Government where he implements and monitors programs that attract foreign-born internationals to Louisville, build a thriving business environment, and create a community that welcomes and supports their growth. He serves as an ambassador for Youth Building in Synergy to End Poverty, a program manager for the ReTurn Movement, and a legal assistant at Kortz Funke Immigration Law Firm. As an internationally trained practitioner, Amos also works with several NGOs as a consultant.
