Episode 5: Taking the Steps to Recovery
I am joined by my cousin (!!!) and Division 1 track athlete Madison Neuner! In this ULTRA-long episode, we talk about eating disorder recovery, injury prevention/maintenance, politics in sports, and the overall intense power of the mind. Madison also plans on competing in the 2024 Olympics–she is a talented athlete with a bright future, it was great catching up with her & I'm excited for you all to listen in.
*Recommendation*: Since this episode is 2 hrs long, I'd highly recommend listening in bits–we all have crazy lives, but the content in this episode is super important and interesting!

What's Next: Shifting Your Mindset After Leaving Your Sport–with Jackie Ireland!
I had one of the most insightful and deep conversations with former D1 soccer player & Merrimack alum, Jackie Ireland! Our chat goes in SO many directions–from toxicity on teams, journaling, social media, and eating to working out, growing up, and figuring out how to get the most out of life after college. Jackie is such a ray of sunshine, her fitness account (@gymin_with_jac) is TOTALLY worth the follow!

Episode 3: Taking Health & Wellness to a New Level
I sit down (over Zoom, of course) with Rylee Ollearis–founder of RyleeJade.fit and avid health & wellness advocate! She has really built her platform over social media, bringing plenty of positivity and motivation to people's feeds. I was so excited to talk about her journey in training for an Iron Man, which is coming up in April, and she discusses many of the trials and tribulations that go into training for such a strenuous event. And of course, we have our laughs about some of our favorite characters from iCarly–it was truly iconic!

National Eating Disorder Awareness Week Reflection & Check-in!
The last week of February is National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. As I am continuing to recover from a binge eating disorder for the last 2 years, I wanted to share my story, but also bring up a few topics that I believe are extremely important if we are going to continue to raise awareness on this incredibly important issue. Eating disorders are NOT limited to just women–it's an all-gender problem that needs to be addressed as long as diet culture continues to consume and ruin our society.
