SiPod Series 3 Episode 1: Taking up new hobbies

In an episode that was recorded peacemeal, Simon discusses a hobby he took up before he went on holiday to the French Territorial Collectivity of Corsica in June 2023. He talks about how helpful it is not just for avoiding boredom, but also from the perspective of learning a foreign language, how positive an impression it can give to those who speak said language, how it will help you get by, even if you're not fluent.

SiPod Season 2 Episode 6: Watergate (nearly) 50 years on

The Watergate Scandal is an infamous period of time that has negatively defined Richard Nixon’s legacy. This podcast does not really go too far in depth in the 37th President in terms of his personality, but instead it looks into the chain of events that culminated in his becoming the first and (as of 2022) only US President to resign due to scandal. This is due to the year 2022 marking 50 years since the Watergate building was burgled twice in 1972. Simon provided a mimicking of the 37th President's voice in this podcast, and are based on the words spoken by Richard Nixon himself.

The 17th-19th June 2005 was supposed to be one of the most important and prestigious races on the F1 calendar. Instead, through a combination of technical and political issues throughout the weekend, it descended into intransigence and the result was a six car field taking the start. The views Simon expressed in this are his own.
