It can be tough for parents to decide whether or not you will place your child on medications for mental health diagnoses like ADHD, ADD, Anxiety, Depression or Autism. There are a number of totally understandable fears that run through the minds of parents when faced with this choice. In this conversation, Dr. Larry Mitnaul, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, who is also Catholic, talks through some of the common fears and concerns that parents face, and provides great insights.
