#10: The History of Climate Change - with Rosie Lewis Schnack von gestern

    • Geschiedenis

Climate Change is one of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century. Although man-made climate change is unprecedented, changes in the climate are a challenge that mankind had to overcome for all of its history.
Climate scientist Rosie Lewis (MPhil Candidate in Holocene Climates, Sidnex Sussex College, University of Cambridge) takes us along on a journey that features ice sheets, volcanoes and Old Icelandic literature to understand how our ancestors dealt with climate change, how their perceived drastic events like volcanic eruptions and how understanding the past may help us today to deal with the consequences of climate change.
