Dr. Imre Bangha is Associate Professor of Hindi at the University of Oxford. He is Hungarian and studied Indology in Budapest. He holds a PhD in Hindi from Visva-Bharati, Shantiniketan. He has been published in English, Hindi and Hungarian. His areas of interest lie in the emergence of Hindi, including Khari Boli, as a literary dialect in various scripts; Hindi manuscript culture; Riti poetry and the continuity of classical Sanskrit aesthetics in court literature; ‘Ritimukt’ poetry in Brajbhasha; Vishnudas, Kabir, Tulsidas, Vajid, Anandghan, Thakur; Nāgarī Rekhtā compositions. Currently, he is working on a monograph on the emergence of Hindi literary tradition. 



 The Jain Foundation is a not for profit organization, devoted to spreading the foundational values of Jainism, through three powerful branches Jain Talks, Jain Yog and Jain Diet.

The App Features weekly webinars of the Jain Talks, Jain Diet and Jain Yog, featuring guests like Shri Anand Panagariya, Ex-Vice Chairman, Niti Ayog graced the Jain Talks platform. He spoke about Economics, Jainism and Family. His optimism for India's future and also a biography which he has written on his father - "The Extra-ordinary life of an Ordinary man". D. R. Mehta, Jaipur Foot; Dr. Shobha Varthaman, proud mother of Abhinandan Varthaman, a renouned surgeon in her own right and Darshan Mehta, President and CEO of Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) have been some of our esteemed speakers.

The Jain Foundation hosted a special digital event to commemorate Paryushan for the Shwetambar Jains, which was telecast live from The Adani Shantigram Jain Temple in Ahmedabad. And Das Lakshan for the Digambar Jains, the most important Jain festival in their calendar. The programmes were viewed LIVE on The Jain Foundation App which had 10000+ downloads in a span of 10 days

The celebrations consisted of darshans, bhakti aarti sessions and closed with a live temple tour for Chaitya Paripati. Pravachans were held on all days by stalwarts like Deepakbhai Bardoli, Hukumchand Bharill and Vipin Jain. This special digital event started on 15th August and went on till 1st September.

The Jain Foundation is the brain child of Ramesh Kumar Shah, Founder of RK Trust, the philanthropic arm of the RK Group. It was conceived on April 6th 2020 and co-created by Neal Shah, to bring forth the foundational values of Jainism and make them relevant to the current generation.

We believe that dialogue and discussion is a great way to build bridges between people of different cultures, attitudes, languages and religions.
