The unheard additional perspectives broaden the context it took place in, and my perspective on what I back then thought was: the dangers of people pursuing a one-sided story. A story you would wish for nobody, but it happened to Tablo (and surroundings), and still happens today. Through this series I can still clearly hear the screams for the evidently bigger side of the story that holds Tablo’s truth. The difference now is that in this series it is never one-sided. It fills the gaps that we learn didn’t seem to stand a chance back then, because of the unfathomable injustice done by the masses.

I’m wondering if Tablo, or maybe we all are already persevering the time that is actually still to come. Time, with shadows we cannot outrun. Still, this well crafted, heartbreaking, and insightful series gives me hope too. That dark shadows may eat up the truth, but we are capable of shining light on it. The way they were able to do so in this production is absolutely amazing, thank you. Of all the lessons Tablo has shared with us, this one too will contribute to us all (still) being here, now and in the future. For me, it underlined the words of my own father, who always said to first hear, then (truly) listen, and then speak. Something I hope society never forgets.
