Do we really understand our own despair? Let's take some time to discover this fake news we give ourselves. Is it even real? How do we use things to not feel it?

Fear and anxiety can get the best of us, no? This is a meditation to expand awareness linking conscious breathing with our visual imagination.

Mostly we avoid pain. Perhaps that is why there is so much depression. If we keep putting energy into not looking into the darkness the darkness will continue. Let's look at what cicadas might have to say about it from their long life dwelling in the dirt for more than a decade before they come into the light.

Who Am I Absent of Conditioning? Imagine all of the influences that have shaped who you are today...even down to how you brush your teeth the right or wrong way. How can you possibly be good enough when everything in your life has culminated to make you this way? Begin to imagine what life could be life if you came to know your own unique nature...and fell in love with it.

To paraphrase Khalil Gibran, our children are not ours, but they come through us. What is the purpose of fatherhood? What is the impact each of who choose parenthood have on the future of our children? No, not all of us are suited to perform this task if we are to elevate the consciousness of our species. Yes, it is on us to nurture our children to carry forth their own abilities beyond us. No, it has nothing to do with us and they will be who they are.

Mostly we think of ourselves as having infinite choices to make as any given moment, unaware of the influence our past has on us now. Here we consider the specific limitations, specifically those of the inherited perception of our parents there are, and question what our experience of life might be like if we add other options.
