In this episode, we talked to Kautious's sister Kailee and we talked about her struggles with being a Pacific Islander. We also talked about how life has become a little more difficult for Islanders during COVID, which kind of puts a brick wall in front of her future goals. We also touched on how stereotypes are damaging the hopes of many Pacific Islanders just because they are portrayed differently.

In this episode, we covered the pros and cons of the law and justice system. We wanted to bring some awareness to the corruption that has been seen all throughout the justice system from recent events here on Oahu to other places around the world. This topic is a bit heavy and hard to hear, but we do feel like it’s a conversation that needs to be heard.

This episode we explore the idea of traditional knowledge, cultural customs, and traditions to see if there is a way to use modern ideas and tools to help preserve that knowledge. We looked at many possible approaches by looking at many examples of knowledge being preserved, adaptions of patterns, and food. We even looked more closely behind the intent of meshing traditional with modernization, for if they intent is good the outcome of meshing can be perceived as good as well.
