BL010 - INTERVIEW w/ Manfred Karrer on BitSquare the decentralized open-source exchange Whatsup with Johan?

    • Zaken en persoonlijke financiën

This is a mivestream discussion with Manfred Karrer. An Austrian software developer who lives in Barcelona, working on Bitsquare since early 2014. When he first heard about Bitcoin early 2011 he fell instantly into the infamous rabbit hole of Bitcoin and thought that Bitcoin is the most important and disruptive innovation since the internet (and still believes that). In the search for becoming active in the Bitcoin field he tried to find a solution for something what most people said it is impossible: A decentralized Bitcoin-Fiat exchange. After a few months of research he started to implement a prototype which has evolved later into a fully functional trading application. More details about his project can be found on http://www.bitsquare.io
