West Seneca's Eric Van Houten is now a Nashville resident pursuing his dream of country music superstardom. His 2022 full length album "Dreamers" (available everywhere music can be found) is gaining national recognition. His talent has been so recognized that country songwriter Chris Destefano, who's written #1 hits for Carrie Underwood,  Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and MIranda Lambert, has started writing for Eric. He'll be back in WNY performing live at the Howl in the Hills concert August 6th at Holland Speedway. The show also features Gary Levox from Rascal Flatts. I'm admittedly rock n roll to the core but this interview impressed me enough to dip my toe into the country world and I was moved for sure. Enjoy it!
