Joel Myers and Barry Frantz, Tillage and Cover Crop Survey Ag Technicians
Each year Capital RC&D conducts a fall cover crop survey and spring tillage and residue survey in select counties located within the Chesapeake Bay watershed in Pennsylvania. The 2022 spring survey will start soon and revisit counties surveyed during the fall 2021 cover crop survey. Capital RC&D Conservation Podcast host, Cheryl Burns, joined ag technicians Joel Myers and Barry Frantz, who are both retired from USDA-NRCS, to help collect data and spoke with them about their conservation work and the survey itself.
