Lacks critical self-awareness
While an interesting podcast, the casual racism and postcolonial attitude towards Thailand and its authorities by some of the interviewees, that remains unquestioned by the podcast makers, is off-putting. The attractiveness of Thailand to westerners is one side of a coin, while the absence of “proper” police investigations is the other side of that same coin. The inherent hypocrisy in our attitude towards countries like Thailand should have been discussed by the podcast makers.
