    Sir Peter Bazalgette

    Sir Peter Bazalgette

Interview with Sir Peter Bazalgette, a British television executive and producer, considered one of the most influential people in British television. He is responsible for bringing shows such as Big Brother and Deal or No Deal to our screens, as well as serving as Chairman of ITV. He also has a keen interest in promoting the arts, having been the Chairman of Arts Council England. Was such a fun interview.

    Jackie Weaver

    Jackie Weaver

In this episode I am joined by Jackie Weaver, the Chief Officer of the Cheshire Association of Local Councils, and an internet sensation who went became internationally famous in 2021 after her viral Zoom call with the disruptive Handforth Parish Council. Thanks so much to Jackie for being so generous with her time and for being such a great guest.

    Dr. Darrell Bock

    Dr. Darrell Bock

An interview with Darrell Bock, one of the most prominent New Testament scholars in the world, from Dallas Theological Seminary. Absolutely loved this conversation, especially as someone figuring out what I think about Christianity - hopefully it will also help listeners! At Dallas Theological Seminary, he is currently executive director of Cultural Engagement at The Hendricks Center, and Senior Research Professor of New Testament studies. He has also served as president of the Evangelical Theological Society, a consulting editor for Christianity Today, and on the board of Wheaton College.

    Niklas Frank

    Niklas Frank

(Apologies for one moment in the interview when my audio and Niklas' overlap.) Interview with journalist Niklas Frank, son of Hans Frank, who was Governor-General of Poland for the duration of World War Two, overseeing the deaths of over 4 million people, as well as being Hitler's personal lawyer in the pre-war years. Niklas speaks about his relationship with his father during childhood; how he came to detest his father as he grew up; his concerns about the rise of anti-semitism in Germany today; and more.

    Jonathan Aitken

    Jonathan Aitken

In-person interview with Jonathan Aitken, a remarkable man who went from Cabinet Minister to prisoner in one of the biggest political scandals in decades, before turning his life around and becoming a Christian in prison. He is now a prison chaplain at Pentonville among many other things. An incredibly humble and warm character who I had the pleasure of recording this episode with.
Linked below are the two volumes that make up his autobiography:

    Michael Crick

    Michael Crick

Michael Crick, the legendary political journalist, known for his time as Politics Editor at Newsnight and as a correspondent at Channel 4, speaks about his career; the state of journalism today; and advice he has for budding journalists (like myself!). Was a joy to talk to someone looked up to by myself and so many others. Very generous with his time.
