    Dirty Disco apparel survey.

Now that I have your attention, I would kindly like to ask for your help by filling in this survey here. The reason for this survey is in fact very simple. Our belief is to promote music and positivity as a lifestyle through Dirty Disco. To reach and infect more people with our music we are looking for growth. Next to being available through a multitude of channels. We also want to create something that people can wear and showcase their love for Dirty Disco with. So a Dirty Disco apparel line in the form of t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, face-masks and more is a no-brainer.

    Ecological & sustainable.

But because we don’t just want to offer you the next printed shirt. And we are looking for something better, more exclusive in a sustainable way with a responsible ecological footprint we are investigating and found out that we may need to put more budget in our idea. A budget that we in the first place don’t really have and since we aren’t experienced fashion designers we are not sure if this will work. So here comes your help, by letting us know if you would dig a Dirty Disco apparel line and how this should look like by filling in this small survey.

    Podcast 400 | Weekly Music Selection: Diplo & Mat.Joe | Lesny Deep | Black Loops | Caribou | + More.

    Dirty Disco Podcast 400.

Even though we are not really celebrating it with an exceptional episode, podcast 400 is a milestone on it’s own. Having in mind that I have been bringing you curated selections in the form of Dirty Disco for 400 weeks in a row (Yes that’s 7,7 years). The end of it isn’t visible yet as I’m planning to bring much more music to you. The only thing that’s about to change is that I always aim to make it better.

In terms of progress and Dirty Disco evolving, you can listen to the Dirty Disco selections in much more ways now, and even more in the future. Next to the weekly music podcast you can listen to the official Dirty Disco Spotify playlist here. And or find new curated music uploads on the Dirty Disco YouTube channel and the live stream here which is still in beta on Mixcloud to just name a few activities.

Reaching podcast 400 also made me think of bringing more than just music. So a Dirty Disco apparel line is something I’m now working on together with Falko, among other ideas to bring more great music together with positive vibes to you. Stay tuned to Dirty Disco, subscribe to us on all your favorite platforms and the newsletter to stay updated on all new things coming soon.

Contents of Dirty Disco podcast 400.

Similar to every new music podcast episode, this week I curated a new selection of electronic music. Which we can divide up into these following segments.

    * 25 new selected tracks from various EP’s & LP’s ranging in the electronic music sub-genres: Deep House, Disco House, House Music, here and there funky & soulful vibes. Electronica and a bit of that breakbeat house vibe.* 4 promo releases. (Forthcoming tracks on the time of recording) by: The new Colours 6 LP on Seven Music. Loods on Club Sweat, Laroye on Local Talk.* 9 vinyl tracks from: Jimpster – Soul Spectrum on Freerange, Joel Holmes – Osmosis on Toy Tonics, Sweely – Beast In My Bass on Automatic Writing, Black Loops – Circulation EP on Shall Not Fade. Among many others.* 4 Albums by: Seven Music – Colours 6, Do You Dance on Higher Ground, The Round Up Pt 7 on Heist Recordings, Caribou with his Suddenly Remixes LP available through his Bandcamp page.* This all curated, selected and mixed together in a 2 hour DJ mix, which is also available without the presentation here.

    Podcast 400 Highlights.

Clearly I like all releases curated in this week’s Dirty Disco podcast 400. And yet there are much more as every week I select around 100 new tracks. Sometimes less, but way often much more. From this what I call “pre-selection” I finally end up with the end selection that gets into the mix in every episode. That does not mean that all of the other EP’s and LP’s I find are not worthy. These are real gems too and i really would love to highlight them to you in some sort of way. But when it comes to making a mix, the music needs to somehow connect. And because we are limited in time not all tracks reach the final result. This is for example one of the reasons why there is a Dirty Disco YouTube channel where more music gets upload...

    Dirty Disco Podcast 399.

That’s right we are just one step away from 400 episodes of Dirty Disco. But until we reach that milestone next week you’ll have to do it with podcast 399. The best thing i can mention about installment 399, is that it’s once again filled with great new must have music releases. I selected 25 new tracks ranging in the electronic music sub-genres from Deep House to Nu Disco, Disco House, future forward thinking electronica and here and there a little of those blips and breakbeat styled tracks.

    Contents of episode 399.

    * 25 new must hear & have electronic music essentials. Mixed together into one balanced 2 hour DJ mix. (also available as a stand alone DJ mix, without the voice-overs.* 5 forthcoming promo releases on: theBasement Discos, Dirt Crew Recordings, Rave Child and Sync Records.* 9 tracks within this podcast’s music selection are also available on vinyl. Look out for: Kraak & Smaak – Pleasure Centre remixed. Scruscru – South Wind, Clear Sky Pt 1. The forthcoming release by Harry Wolfman – Sly Contrast on Dirt Crew. * Among all tracks are 3 albums you may want to check out by: Kraak & Smaak, Post Office 5 on Telegraph records, and the debut album by Wantigga – Andreas on Studio Koto.

    Highlights to point out.

As you will hear when you press play and tune into this week’s music show episode. In no particular order as i like all of the music in this selection. I would like to highlight a few releases so you know what’s coming up and what there is to expect.

Kraak & Smaak – Pleasure Centre Remixed | Boogie Angst

When you refer to the track listing on the bottom of this page, you’ll see that there are 4 tracks just coming from the Dutch collective Kraak & Smaak. A bit longer than a year ago they dropped their Pleasure Centre LP on their own Boogie Angst label where they collaborated on with other emerging artists from the electronic music scene. It now has received the well deserved remix treatment and got released in two parts. Pleasure Centre remixed pt 1 & pt 2 includes remixes from: Yuksek, Makez, Saison to just name a few. A real go to for Nu Disco and funky house music lovers.

Wantigga – Andreas | Studio Koto.

Let’s stick a bit longer with Dutch artists and look at the debut album by DJ and producer Wantigga titled Andreas which recently dropped on Studio Koto. If you like a mixture of deep electronica beats, breaks and that 4 to the floor house vibe. This album is a must have!

Jacopo SB – Around My Mind | GLBDOM Classic.

The Russian GLBDOM electronic music label recently started a new sub-label called GLBDOM Classic to create a new channel to release more Chicago, Detroit and 90’s New York inspired house music on, with a touch of Italian Dream House and Balearica. Exactly that is what you’ll hear on the first release from Jacopo...

Fresh New branding & logo + more in the works | Dirty Disco #398

Fresh New branding & logo + more in the works | Dirty Disco #398

    New branding & logo.

After last-week’s episode where we took a closer look into the end of Daft Punk I’m back at you with good news. You may have noticed, you may have not. But recently Dirty Disco experienced a make-over with new branding and logo (thanks to Darko and Dragan Kucirov for this). And yet there is more to come so I really hope you like the new style. Please share your thoughts in the comment section here, or on one of the other platforms where the music show is listed.

Share the love for electronic music.

The purpose of the new branding and logo is to make Dirty Disco grow into a bigger electronic music lifestyle platform where more people can relate to, so that more people together can share the love for electronic music and share positivity and find inspiration through it.

Near future music: Dirty Disco apparel brand.

Currently I’m investigating the options to create and deliver a Dirty Disco apparel brand that goes very well with the new branding and the whole music show concept, but at the same time could be a brand on its own. Idea’s suggestions and or collaborations on this are very much welcome. Get in touch here. To give you a small lead, I don’t want the Dirty Disco apparel brand to be just another cheap print technique on the first clothing brand.

Sustainable with an ecological footprint to take care of our environment.

Just like the name, the philosophy and movement it needs to be a solid representable and sustainable apparel clothing line that makes an impact in the scene. Something everybody wants to wear while we take care of our environment.

    Dirty Disco 398 contents.

So now that you know about the new branding, logo and future plans for a Dirty Disco apparel there is also this week’s new selection of curated tunes. Let’s see what I’m playing you in this 398th episode of Dirty Disco.

    * Among the 23 new tracks in this week’s mix selection I’m playing music from labels like: Aus Music, Shall Not Fade, Scope Recordings, Lo Fidelity Music, Mostly Cozy, Fina and Cosmic Breeze Records to name a few.* There are 8 promo releases on the time of recording. Tune in and find out which ones you can now pre-order.* 8 tracks from the music selection are on or coming on vinyl. Tilman drops a new LP on Shall Not Fade as a 12”. Dam Swindle (formerly known as Detroit Swindle) just dropped their first new EP under the new moniker on Aus Music which will also be available as a 12″. The hot new album filled with silky dreamy deep house by Brijean – Feelings is also a must have on vinyl.* In total there are 3 new LP’s featured by the just mentioned Brijean – Feelings. Dope Deep Disco House tunes and broken beat vibes on the Patiently Waiting LP on Mostly Cozy, which is a sub-label from the Honey Butter Records label. And the new Tilman – United Scripts LP filled with superb soulful jazzy infused and disco vibes house music on Shall Not Fade is here to entertain your ears.

    Dirty Disco 398 tracklist.

Here below you’ll find all played tracks in the correct order with additional information added so you can easily find the music you like online and support the artist if you please.
