Max can I call you daddy
If you like podcasts this podcast is for you!
On its face, as the “challenge podcast” the show purports itself to be, it is a farce and a failure. BARELY any of the challenges involve wolves, or hawks, or jumping from great heights, or rocket motercycles, or tarantulas. On the contrary, oftentimes the challenges are wimpishly easy, like “take a nap” or “eat a sandwich”.
This is however more than made up for by the dynamic witticism of the show’s host, Max Temkin. A former worked in the Obama campaigns, he is now predominantly engaged in a card game, and he has at one time been digging his own hole. Max certainly is among the brightest, funniest and all-over lovable people of our generation, a true American hero, a philosopher king, great business man, philanthropist and caretaker of progressive America. If you took all your favorite people’s favorite parts and put them in a blender, and then reduced the resulting slush on low heat, the result would be Concentrate of Amazing. Max is like Conecentrate of Amazing, but without having to put your friends in a blender.
Joining Max on the show are his underling Alex Cox who has a funny laugh, and Marvin Mann, an erstwhile self-proclaimed productivity expert.
Would by again.
