026 – Your Mind Is Your Secret Weapon
We can enter a competition and worry about whose in our class, what the judges will give us, where we will place, what our horses will do. We can worry about all these things we have no control over and let our nerves get the better of us. Then we go to trot down a centre line and can't even remember if we turn left or right! We have been so wrapped up in things outside of our control that we have lost control on the things we can control.
Before I started working on my mindset I had no tools, no tactics, no weapons to combat a vulnerable and scattered mind. Over time though I have now learnt how to improve my mindset and I have become obsessed with how our minds influence our performance and everyday life.

025 – How To Stay Calm In Any Situation
"Negative emotions are just signals, they're just triggers, they're letting you know that you are now focused on something outside your control."
In order to be able to create more calm within different situations you face, it's important to realise that there is very little inside of your control and you want to make sure that you're not pouring energy into things that you can't control.
When it comes to horses, they are unpredictable and if you pushing your comfort zone and out-competing there are a lot of elements outside of your control. So before you spiral into on overwhelmed state where anxiety kicks in and you are running on adrenaline. Take a moment and realise there's no sense in trying to control the who is in your class because you can't. There's no sense in trying to control what the judges will give you, because you can't. There's no sense in trying to control the weather because you can't. There is no sense worrying what so in so is saying on the side line, because you can't control that. So just let those things happen and instead focus on what you can control.

022 – How To Avoid Quitting
No one likes quitting or giving up on their goals and dreams in life, but so often I see people just settling and not willing to step outside their comfort zone. You see in order to achieve your goals it requires you to stretch yourself a little. Stepping outside your comfort zone and stretching yourself a little. You see too often people quit because they let their fears win. However, everything you dream of is usually on the other side of those fears and facing them is what helps you achieve your goals.

021 – How To Stop Caring What Others Think
Learn in this episode how to control your response to what others think and learn strategies to improve your mindset.
In dressage, we are trotting down a centre line and asking someone’s opinion on how our training is going at this level. We have paid to enter into that show, to get a trusted and experienced persons opinion. So in that time and place, that opinion matters and that is a time where you take the feedback and grow from it. No matter whether it was good or bad.
