This is the story of "Manikarnika," also known as "Lakshmi Bai," whose birth took place on November 16, 1834, in Varanasi. Her father's name was Moropant Tambe, and her mother's name was Bhagirathi Bai. While her real name was Manikarnika, people affectionately called her Mannu.
