Episode 7 - Loosing The Structure Provocative Therapy

    • Geestelijke gezondheid

In this last episode on the provocative assumption I'm honored to have a talk with the founder of the provocative assumptions, Dutch clinical psychologist and provocative pioneer Jaap Hollander. With him I discuss provocative assumption 7: If the therapist loses the structure during the session, the client will bring it back and will get to the core by himself.

For once, I will be letting go of my own structure in this podcast and just jump into the conversation with Jaap. We also discuss other assumptions, the role of humor and the importance of scientific research in the field.

A new series of podcast will follow soon in which I am going to talk with colleagues in the field of clinical psychology, psychotherapy and family therapy about topics such as humor in psychotherapy, depression, anxiety or other disorders, on sexuality, taboos and myths, and all the other interesting topics that affect our work. Of course, I will dedicate episodes to the research results for my Ph.D. thesis from time to time. I will look for interesting people, but you could help me by advising me who I need to invite according to you.

If you have any comments, questions or request you can post them underneath the podcast episode or you can contact me via my website https://terapiaprovocativa.es or via his email: info@terapiaprovocativa.es. In a future episode I will attend to your reactions. If you would like to read the book about the Provocative Therapy you can find it on amazon and on:
