From Cork with Love Adventure Paul H O'Mahony (Cork)

This is a reading of about five pages from the start of James Joyce's novel.

Noise too.  "How is your heartbeat Nik Lakhani?"   Recorded during the live penalty shoot-out between Liverpool & Chelsea.  You hear Nik call it.  Paul O'Mahony  asks Nik "Who should take the penalties?"  You hear every single penalty from inside the Muskerry Arms pub in Blarney village.  Ted Mellamphy's delighted.

In Muskerry Arms Pub in Blarney Village - the excitement overwhelms Nik Lakhani, Ted Mellamphy & Paul O'Mahony.  Will Liverpool beat Chelsea?  You hear the sound of a rowdy public house.  The topic:  "How are you feeling about your team today?"   You hear Nik's response.  You also hear Nik say "I have to come back to Blarney". 

"What do you think of the Guinness" asks Paul.   "Are you going to keep on drinking Bulmer's cider?"  The conversation jumps on to Uzbekistan - especially Uzbekistanian apples.
