    It’ s summertime and in Get Savvy this week, we plunge into the pool of questions related to raising capital. We want to talk about equity crowdfunding and learn how you set up a crowdfunding campaign. Which type of companies does this external source of capital fit, and is it true that preparations for a successful campaign is equivalent to an IPO?
    To find out, we invited Jannik Lawaetz, the serial entrepreneur who made his first exit when he was 14 years old. Jannik is a passionate business leader who can’t seem to stay away from entrepreneurship even when he´s tried. He is the founder and the CEO of the Copenhagen-based company, LuggageHero, the leading luggage-storage network, who is bucking the trend by showing that investing in travel startups is not over during the corona pandemic. Through successful crowd-sourced campaigns LuggageHero can be found in 36 cities across North America and Europe and in 2019 they acquired their biggest American competitor, Knock Knock City.

    In Get Savvy this week, we want to learn how to leverage a valuable heritage while digitizing the customer experience to find new customer groups. To learn from the professionals we invited Joakim Hartzell, CEO of "Götrich 1730", and James Sleater, founder of "Cad & the Dandy". 
    Götrich opened their tailoring doors for business 300 years ago which makes it one of Sweden’s oldest family owned companies. Joakim Hartzell took over the role as the tailoring company’s CEO in 2017 and is hard at work bringing Götrich to new customer groups. Cad & the Dandy is the independent tailoring company based in London, who during their 10 years in business have introduced digital processes into the ancient craft of tailoring and thereby become one of Savile Row’s largest tailoring houses.
      
    Together with Joakim and James we discuss how you can develop your business, maintain an existing customer base and at the same time attract new customer segments by transforming the offline into an online community.
