Our 25th episode is here, and we have bittersweet news to announce… To match the theme of our lives, Grow As We Go will be going under some new changes. We will be taking a break and completely rebranding (SO EXCITING), upgrading, and shifting into season-based podcasts!! We are filled with so much gratitude for what these past episodes have brought us and we are looking forward to the even better content to come. In this episode, we dive into another conversation about our culture with a very special guest, Tiffany Zuniga, but this time we go deeper into how colorism and machismo show up in latinx culture. As we reflect together, we realize how speaking about these issues in community can help deconstruct the generation trauma, and we highlight how even though we are all under the umbrella of the same culture, each of our experiences is unique and valid.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to even be in a sorority? Since greek life is usually depicted in movies from a social perspective of parties, we decided to give our audience an insight of what it's really like.  In this episode we share our experiences of being apart of sorority life. We converse the worthiness of joining a sorority but ultimately emphasize that each experience is unique. 

In this episode, we are joined by Dyana Gonzalez, a fitness enthusiast, and a fellow friend. We each share our journeys with our health and fitness regime while acknowledging the ups and downs, the pressures, and the stigma behind it. We emphasize the importance of having the right intentions towards our health & fitness so that we can create a healthy lifestyle. Ultimately, we discuss the importance of listening to our bodies in order to provide the best nourishment physically, mentally, and emotionally.

We emphasize on how, post graduation, we tend to compare our life to others because we are so embedded with the idea that we were given to us in high school.
