Developing innovative packaging solutions which are not only fit for purpose but fit for the future; this is the challenge facing the packaging industry today.
In March 2022, the 4evergreen alliance released its Circularity by Design Guideline for Fibre-Based Packaging, which provides clear guidance to packaging designers on how to ensure that packaging is designed with recycling in mind.
In this series, we will lead you through the guideline to discover how it has been developed, how it will concretely impact the work of the whole fibre-based packaging value chain and how it will support the alliance in reaching its ambitious target: a 90% recycling rate of fibre-based packaging in Europe by 2030.
