Heartbreak coach, Claire Byrne, breaks down exactly how you can finally STOP wanting your ex back on this podcast that is unlike any other heartbreak podcast out there!
Heartbreak is messy, painful and overwhelmingly daunting at times, but it can also be the gateway to embark on a new journey beyond your wildest dreams if you LET it. You will laugh, you will cry, and have your own mind BLOWN, by how POSSIBLE it will be for you to THRIVE from heartbreak, versus barely survive.
After years of enduring toxic relationships, and being at a loss on how to navigate through the pain, Claire is now dedicated to helping other women like her, not only STOP wanting him back, but become the best version of themselves, BECAUSE of the heartbreak.
PLEASE NOTE: Claire refers to her exes and the listener’s ex as a “he,” based on her own personal experience as a heterosexual female, but this work can be applied to ANYONE going through heartbreak. ALL genders and sexual orientations are encouraged to listen and apply Claire’s tools into their own lives!

Interesting - but too problematic to continue listening
Generally I feel like Claire has a lot of really great knowledge to share and the tools she offers are powerful. I was really benefiting from listening to the episodes. However, what really ruined this podcast for me were her deeply problematic and triggering views on diets and fat people, and on being poor.
In the beginning of listening to this podcast I was very annoyed with the continuous weight loss analogy as someone with a past of eating disorders. However, I thought, as a woman living in LA, she may not be aware that this is problematic.
In episode 59, Claire touches upon why she uses the analogy, after another triggered listener asked her to stop using it. Her response is basically based on plain fatphobia as some people “just need to lose weight”. This is not about “not being for everyone”, this is about using language that is actively harming and enforcing diet culture on a large part of your listeners. It’s also not about “if you’re not pissing anyone off, you’re doing it wrong.” It’s about doing better. It’s too easy to dismiss all valid criticism as “the problem is your thoughts to what I’m saying”. No. F*ck that. You have a platform, so take responsibility. Truly disappointed by this so called explanation.
Another deeply problematic point is Claire’s continuous references to how your thoughts create your financial results. It is truly shocking to me how little she, as a coach, reflects on her privileged position. Poverty is often times not poor people’s fault. Stating that it is, is deeply disrespectful. Not everyone has time to change their thoughts on money, Claire, they are too busy surviving and working three minimum wage jobs.
Her problematic views have made it very difficult to listen to the podcast and her unwillingness to learn and take responsibility are doing a great disservice to her knowledge and expertise.
