We're still on track. This one's been in the work for a while, and finally, we're back with an impactful discourse on the Helping Hands & The Pursuit of Happiness, with Mr Maclean Ngangom. Mac is a valued friend who I have had the pleasure of acquainting for over a decade now. We first met as these two clueless class 4 kids in a new school, and it has been a wild ride since. He and I have been exchanging ideas on the value of society and kinship in the family for quite a while and I've always felt he have an incessant message of hope and happiness he'd be obliged to share with the population. Can you imagine the hardship of everyone staring at you in disbelief as you walk across a public restroom? Life is never easy, but it gets much worse for a transgender or a gay person. In this episode of IN TWO DEEP, Mr Senny Yumnam and I, discuss the challenge he faced growing up as a transgender man in a society that's fairly novice to LGBTQ+ rights. We discuss topics ranging from how a simple pronoun can mean a difference between normal and a state of mental anxiety for a man. We have come a long way in our fight for the love and inclusion of all humans irrespective of gender, sexual identity and orientation. Change is never easy, but gradual change treads us closer to the promised land when done consistently.
