In our final Summer Retrospective of the season, host Emma Wine interviews 2018-19 Emerging Composer Fellow Niko Yamamoto. Niko's worldview shapes his music, and his attitude as a composer shapes his work to give it an otherworldly, ethereal quality. Listen to Niko's saxophone solo "dis.integrations" and his world premiere saxophone quartet, "a midfield glance," commissioned by Musiqa for its final concert of the season at CAMH for the exhibit "Stonewall 50."
