J’ai regardé dans mon propre cœur:

Je ne suis ni d’Orient ni d’Occident, ni de la terre, ni de la mer.
J’ai abdiqué la dualité, j’ai vu que les deux mondes ne sont qu’un.
Un Seul je cherche, Un Seul je contemple, Un Seul j’appelle.
Il est le premier, Il est le dernier, l’extérieur et l’intérieur.
Je ne sais rien d’autre que « Ô Toi », « Ô Toi qui est ».

Inspired by the wilderness in my backyard, I wonder whether we can imitate nature and simply exist in this precious moment.

Reflecting on this year’s Graduating students. In honor of all of them but especially my daughter Noor, who graduates from Georgia State University next week. Some introspection on my life growing up in war-torn Lebanon, and this very difficult year.
