Episode 49: [Small] Moments ft. Rebecca DiTore

The [ir]Regulars are back with another guest and trust us when we say, you’ll want to listen to this one! In our longest interview to date, we meet 31-year-old widow Rebecca DiTore who recently lost her husband and partner of more than 15 years to cancer. From diagnosis to his final days, Rebecca walks us through what it was like serving as her late husband, Mike’s, primary caregiver while raising a toddler and a newborn, and trying to process her own grief.

Thank you Rebecca for your courage and strength, having the opportunity to sit with you and hear your story was inspiring beyond words.

Episode 47: [Back] on Our Bulls#!t

WE’RE BACK... on our bullsh#!t baby. It’s been over a year since the [ir]Regulars sat down to record and boy, do we have a lot to cover! In our first episode of season 3, Bobby reveals a newly discovered truth about why he’s been unlucky in the romance department... to which Kaity responds by calling him a douche. From career updates, to breakups, to mental health check-ins and so much more, the [ir]Regulars try their best to recap the last 365+ days. Be sure to listen to the end to hear Kaity wrap up the episode with a public apology to an ex that none of us [including Bobby] saw coming.

Shout out to the [real] ones rejoining us on this wild ride. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings. If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’ll be an [ir]Regular ride. Cheers to season 3!

Episode 46: People [Need] to Hear This

Happy mental health awareness month [ir]Regulars! In this episode, we meet Alex Compton, a new father with a background in social work and mental health advocacy. What starts out as a deep dive into the new challenges of parenthood from a father’s perspective ends up taking a sharp, unexpected turn. Around minute 54, the conversation shifts to a more serious note when Alex opens up about being a Black man in America today raising a Black son. In Alex’s words, people need to hear this... and we couldn’t be more thankful to him for granting us the opportunity to have this difficult, yet important discussion.

Episode 45: My Wheelchair Doesn’t [Define] Me

After eight long months, the [ir]Regulars are pumped to bring you the very first guest of season two. Joining us live from her bedroom, we are thrilled to introduce you to one of the most positive, down a** chicks we’ve had on the show thus far. Following a tragic, early morning accident after bartending shift, Nikki Walsh found herself pinned under a tractor trailer and battling for her life. In this episode, Nikki, a licensed personal trainer, walks us through what it was like to suffer a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed from the waist down, and how she has persevered through an obstacle that would’ve otherwise halted many others.

    Episode 44: Self-Esteem vs. [You]

    Episode 44: Self-Esteem vs. [You]

As promised, the [ir]Regulars are back with a new monthly episode. Since we know you missed us so much during the hiatus, we decided to give you another episode of Bobby and Kaity rocking out without a guest. In this episode, we discuss self esteem - what it is, why it’s important, what roles it plays in relationships/life, and how we can work to improve it. We also feature a very impromptu PSA about non-iPhone users and their overwhelming inferiority to the general public. Sorry not sorry.
