Let’s Talk 30! is a podcast for the modern woman which explores common issues faced by women navigating what is said to be one of the most influential periods of their lives: their 30s.
For most of us, growing up we thought of our 20s as the time to make mistakes and learn from them just in time to get married, have kids and have that white picket fence picture perfect life we saw in fairytales and rom-coms! In fact, we thought we’d have it all by age 25…but little did we know that that shit belongs just where we watched it – in fairytales and you actually don't have to have your life together at 30.
We’ve come to the realisation that our 30s are what we make them and despite what we see around us in the media or what the cultural norms in Barbados may dictate, we have the chance to make this time in our lives our own version of perfect, no matter what it may look like in comparison to someone else's journey.
Our podcast is for the woman who has accepted this or the woman who may be struggling with this. It’s a place to learn, a place to share, a place to embrace all the triumphs and mistakes and valuable lessons we’ve collectively learned on the journey to 30 and continue to learn as we navigate one of the most important chapters of our lives.
