May 6th: Ormesher Sisters Bodies Found (1956)
Sometimes a case seems doomed to remain unsolved. On May 6th 1956 the bodies of two sweet elderly sisters were found inside their home in a case that, as it stands, remains one of Lancashire’s most chilling unsolved murder cases.

May 5th: Paula Hounslea's Body Found (2012)
Sometimes it seems like police know who the killer is but don’t have enough evidence to bring forth charges. At least, not enough to ensure a conviction. On May 5th 2012 a woman disappeared and, though it seems like police have a good idea of who might be responsible, the only people arrested had to be let go without any charges.

May 4th: Kent State Massacre (1970)
Some true crime events are historical in nature due, in large part, to their connections with politics. Today’s story is one of those events. On May 4th 1970 an event took place during the height of war protests and cost 4 young students their lives.
