    Extra Mile for #257

    Extra Mile for #257

This is Extra Mile, a companion piece of Ep257: "Passionately Fond of Sonia". I would strongly suggest you listen to that first, otherwise none of these bits will make sense. Mx

At 8:30am on Monday 12th of November 1923, in the nursery of Flat 1 of West Kensington Mansions in Fulham, the bodies of Sonia Katzman aged four, and her 10 month old sister Jean were found, along side their nursemaid Dora Sadler. Dora loved Sonia, but did she love her too much?

    Extra Mile for #Ep256

This is a support episode for Ep256: The Initiation. It's best to listen to that first.
Saturday 15th of January 1994 at roughly 1am, at the junction of Bishop’s Bridge Road & Portchester Terrace North in Bayswater, W2, 19-year-olds Jamie Petrolini and Richard Elsey stabbed 44- year-old Mohamed Abbas Nassif el-Sayed to death in a fake SAS initiation by two fantasists. But why?

    The Nugget for #255

Every so often, I'll roll out a little secret which didn't make it into the episode and I'll pop it here. If you like it, great, but it's not essential for the story.

One of the best podcasts out there

Superbly researched and produced, Murder Mile really stands out among the sea of true crime podcasts. Michael is a wonderful character, and really puts his heart and soul into his stories. He’s also very funny :) You’ll be hooked ;)

Amazing

Re-listening to the back catalogue in between the new ones being released, these podcasts are incredibly well researched and edited. Subject matter is very diverse and always written with the victims at the heart of the episode. The informal waffle after each episode is for me the icing in the Belgian bun!

5 stars are not enough!

What a wonderful podcast! Funny, but with a deep respect for the victim. I love that you have an eye for the victim. We always know the name of the murderers, but never of the victims. They are the ones who deserve the attention! Thank you!
