Macciocco’s playing career continued at Penn State and Lock Haven, preceding her decorated coaching career formerly at Marywood University and now at Wilkes University. Macciocco, who scored 2,211 points in high school, a former Lackawanna League record, was ranked in 2004 by the Scranton Times Tribune as the area’s 70th greatest athlete.

An interview with Julian Campenni, a Wyoming Area graduate who detailed the recruiting process that ultimately led him to the University of Connecticut, where he was an all-conference defensive lineman.
