Previewing Alamo Bowl opponent Arizona with a Wildcats beat writer
Tulsa World OU beat writers Eric Bailey and Mason Young were joined by Justin Spears, Arizona beat writer for the Arizona Daily Star, on a Monday podcast previewing the Sooners’ and Wildcats’ Alamo Bowl matchup Dec. 28 in San Antonio.
Spears answered questions from Bailey and Young about the pulse of the Arizona program and the emergence of quarterback Noah Fifita as well as other talented Wildcats. The conversation also highlighted the incredible turnaround coach Jedd Fisch has spurred, taking the program from a 1-11 finish in 2021 to a 9-3 regular season record in 2023.
