Welcome to the Paper + Ink Book Club hosted by Jacqui Wright, Julia Mills and Sara Dykstra. Each episode the hosts will select and discuss works by femme authors and intentionally seek out voices that speak of experiences we have not had. The hosts will also be joined from time to time with the authors of the books they are discussing. As we move forward with this new phase of our book club, we remained committed to reading women of colour and non-binary femme voices.

    Dear Edward - April 2020

    Dear Edward - April 2020

Our resident book lovers; Julia, Sara and Jacqui talk about Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano. Jacqui hosts this episode and the three readers talk about themes, characters, symbolism and more. Jacqui and Julia really highlighted their fascination with the letters sent to Edward from the passenger’s families. They both thought the letters were beautiful and a unique way that Edward was able to move through his grief. Sara on the other hand thought they were selfish and wanted to mail farts … yes you read that correctly… farts back to each sender.
