    Ashok Rao is a serial entrepreneur with five 5 successful high-tech start-ups of his own. He is now an angel investor in several start-ups, mentoring founders & serving on boards such as TIE, Goose Capital, and Rice University’s Entrepreneurship program of Jones Graduate School of Business. He was a keynote speaker for MIT’s Global Start-Up Workshop in 2013 and was the first Indian-American to take a company public on NASDAQ.

    Andres Valenciano is the Minister of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica. He is responsible for Costa Rican foreign trade policies and attraction of foreign investment, as well as the representation to several multilateral organizations, such as the WTO, and the OECD. Andres is a graduate of The Fletcher School with a Master’s degree in International Business.

    Elliot Ackerman is an author, marine, former Whitehouse fellow, and graduate of the Fletcher School. His books have been nominated for the National Book Award, the Andrew Carnegie Medal in both fiction and non-fiction, and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize among others. Today we discuss his latest book which he co-authored with Admiral James Stavridis: 2034 A novel of the next world war.

    In this episode, Dea and Dan check in with Dean Rachel Kyte. Rachel Kyte is the 14th dean of The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a graduate of Fletcher's Global Master of Arts Program (GMAP). Dean Kyte is the first woman to lead the nation’s oldest graduate-only school of international affairs. Prior to joining Fletcher, Dean Kyte served as special representative of the UN secretary-general and chief executive officer of Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL).
