Ethnography of a Touring Musician: Jeffrey Gaines
Between August and December of 2019 I was inspired to follow Jeffrey Gaines on his tour of the Northeast and North Midwest of the United States. This was an effort to see if the changes to his performances were because he was somehow different in his performances, if I was different as a fan/audience member, or if there was a difference in seeing him perform outside of our home area of Philadelphia.
