The Props Master - Dean Eilertson & Aleya Naiman

That police bag wedged between patinated leather flipped over for the hundredth time, that bone-handled switch blade born in the harsh reality of the Northern Tundra, or that great grandfather's golden watch hidden for five long years up Chris Walken's ass. A character's prop is like their coat of arms. This time around, Scooter and Kory are joined by accomplished Props Masters Aleya Naiman ('Smallville', 'iZombie,' 'The 100') and Dean Eilertson ('Godzilla,' 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes,' 'The Revenant').

The Focus Puller - Doug Lavender & Jessica Moskal

If the eyes are the windows to the soul, then the focus puller is the gatekeeper to the human condition. This is the kind of job you only notice when it is going wrong, for subjective views may vary on what good lighting is, what a great performance may be, or how exceptional the spread is at craft service, but everyone can see when McConnaughy is out of focus. On this episode, we are joined by globe trotting Focus Puller Extraordinaire - Doug Lavender. Known for his on work on Chris Nolan’s masterpieces ‘Dunkirk,’ and ‘Interstellar’, the upcoming Younger Reitman’s 'Ghostbusters 2020' and his much-sought after Kitten Stickers. Yes that’s right. Kitten Stickers. We are also joined by the sharper than average Jessica Moskal. Known for such fun time genre fare as Will Smith’s ‘I,Robot,’ Freddy and Jason’s, 'Freddy Vs Jason,' and the legendary Vancouver production of the 'Watchmen.' Who watches the Watchmen? Everyone.

The SPFX MU Artist - Todd Masters & Tracy Lai

From the cadaverous flesh of the newly embalmed, to the blood-draining fangs made ready for a feast, the skilled hands behind our most inventive nightmares know that if a gag doesn’t have the touch of God, then it has no soul. Seen by many as the dark art of movie magic, working with severed heads and gory limbs, werewolves and vampires, and even a Ron Perlman head cast, the special make-up effect artist creates something real, that isn’t. On this episode, we are joined by Emmy Award Winner Todd Masters known for HBO's 'Six Feet Under' & 'True Blood.' As well as such genre gems as 'Tales from the Crypt' and those motherf***ing snakes on that motherf***ing plane. We are also joined by the ever pleasant, up-and-comer - Tracy Lai. Known for 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' and 'Star Trek Beyond.'

The Editor - Richard Schwadel & Sabrina Pitre

It is said that a film is written three times - once by the screenwriter on the page, the second by the director on the set, and a third by a ghost in the darkness. This enigmatic position is the first audience member to judge a performance and the last storyteller to effect the narrative. We are, of course, talking about the Editor. On this episode, we are joined by veteran Editor Richard Schwadel known for such classics as 'Pee-Wee's Playhouse' & 'Police Academy: The Series' as well as more modern fair like Peter Farrelly's 'Loudermilk' and ABC's 'Take Two.' We are also joined by Sabrina Pitre, editor of Disney’s TV series 'Mech X4,' the live action adaptation of 'Kimpossible,' and the recently released Canadian runaway-hit, 'Freaks.'

The Location Manager - Rino Pace & Nicole Chartrand

Who would Bruce Wayne be without falling into the Bat Cave? What grander place could Thelma and Louise fly into memory if not for the Grand Canyon? Where a story takes place is as important as the characters within it and although, maybe not top-billed, the location is in itself a character like any other. This episode we are joined by one of Vancouver's busiest Location Managers: The Location Managers Guild International/LMGI Life Time Achievement Award winner Rino Pace who is best known for his work on ‘Inception,’ Clint Eastwood’s ‘Unforgiven,’ ‘Deadpool,’ and the classic Canadian detective noir - ‘Da Vinci’s Inquest.’ We are also joined by Nicole Chartrand who is quickly emerging as one of Vancouver’s most sought after Location Managers after completing a multi-year stretch on the juggernaut of a production that was Amazon’s Emmy Award winning ‘The Man in The High Castle.’

The Sound Mixer - Chris Duesterdiek & Mark Barry

Every department works hand in hand, playing their respective instruments in the orchestra of filmmaking. But, the Sound Mixer just so happens to record the carpet that ties the room together.
