Unsung Heroes: Women of Malaya
Every year, we commemorate our forefathers who have fought for our independence in which we celebrate their contribution and acknowledge what lengths they had to go through. Yet, why are our tokoh negarawati sidelined from this conversation? In today's episode, I introduce you to three women who not only championed Malaya's freedom out of the grasp of colonizers, but also who advocate for women's participation in politics and education. I also reflect on my thoughts regarding the sejarah school syllabus and what improvements can be made.
