On this episode of the podcast I sit down with Rick ‘Smoothies’ Boyer and go over everything from where the future of downhill racing in Australia is going to his iconic Chosen Line movie he helped create with Glen Jacob’s and also the new direction he’s decided to go in life after splitting ways with Lusty industries.
Rick has been a true founder for downhill here in Australia not only through his race wins at a national level but also with the reach he gave mountain biking through getting his Chosen Line movie onto Fuel TV over ten years ago.Rick inspired many young kids including myself to get out with friends and really just enjoy riding your bike and exploring new places along the way.
I think this is has been best continued on my the current Vanzacs who have gone the similar direction as what Rick did with riding more for fun with your friends over the traditional racing path.
