A friend of mine, Paul Avery Tindol, came out with a great scifi thriller! Hunting Snipe: and Other Notes on the East Texas Cattle Mutilations. I had the great pleasure of reading it before our chat and MAN I cannot recommend it enough! Paul and I actually studied theatre together at SFA, so its REALLY cool for me to see a colleague of mine create something as enthralling as this book!

There were a ton of interesting things going on that I wanted to talk about, so I summed them all up and did one episode instead of a bunch of smaller ones!

The latest hit show courtesy of Amazon Prime is out and wild: Fallout! If you havent carved out a few hours to burn through it like the radiation that permeates the wastelands of post apocalyptic America in the series, you definitely need to do so! Though I think the success of the show could potentially lead to something else......

We all have some natural fear of the dark. But why? Why are embodiments of fear and darkness so compelling as characters in our stories? Can we overcome them? How?

There have been all manner of creatures in science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, anime, graphic novels, and cereal box one offs, but I cannot find ANY examples of a being that is completely made out of sound waves.
