Delivered piping hot from the beautiful landlocked oasis that is Salt Lake City, the Scorched Water podcast aims to highlight the history and tradition surrounding all your favorite foods, as well as the people making them. Maybe we'll have a little fun on the way, maybe it will be a grueling and miserable way to spend an hour every few weeks. Who knows! Half the fun is finding out!

Ramen
Whether its a 39 cent bag of instant noodles, or a deluxe fifteen dollar bowl, it's pretty safe to assume that you've tried some variation of Ramen. In this episode we explore the history of the wildly popular dish, and talk a little about how you can spend days of back breaking labor to make your own at home.
