The Secondhand Citizens spun a map and picked BURRA as the first stop on the 2021 tour of rural Australia. We are taking the podcast out to the backroads, searching for BBQ, Beers and Banter.

We recorded this from Melbourne, the night after we found our Meatstock 2020 was cancelled. We are a BBQ team but we do not mention BBQ in this podcast. Actually I have very little idea what the hell this thing is about at all. Proceed at your own risk!

Owner of Cleanheat Charcoal, one of the Australian BBQ communities best-known faces and an altogether great guy. He spoke about his business, the difficulties of working in the charcoal industry and his passion for BBQ.

We were stoked to sit down at Meatstock with Tim Scheer of Shake n Bake BBQ. With over 35 GC's to his name, Tim is a pioneer of Hot & Fast BBQ, owner of Gateway Smokers & also Blues Hog. He is also a humble legend and extremely passionate about all things BBQ. We talked about the evolution of comp BBQ in the USA and what Tim thinks of the Aussie BBQ scene. Enjoy
