This podcast is based on my burning obsession… What is the most effective way to learn the drums, and how can we most efficiently teach this skill to others so that learning is both fun and FAST?
For the teacher who wants to get better, and also for the drummer who wants to learn more efficiently. I created this podcast because I found as a teacher, there are limited resources to truly help drum teachers become excellent at what they do. And also limited resources to help drummers learn how to work through courses and books and get the best out of themselves without direct instruction. As many go online to learn, I thought this podcast would help students learn from teachers about HOW to go through the information, not just WHAT to learn.

In this episode I'll be sharing with you some of my struggles and pitfalls with drum practise, and strategies I have used to help not only myself, but also my students to get in to a "rhythm" and "feel" like going to practise again.
I'll also be sharing my slightly different perspective on teaching modern pop to students.
