The Sit Back with Uncle Yak podcast, is a podcast which focuses on conspiracy theories, paranormal stories, and personal accounts from my time in the Military to my ordinary life.
Elisa Lam / Cecil Hotel
This episode I review a place that sits in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, a hotel believed by some as the most haunted hotel in America. The Cecil Hotel was built in 1924 and has seen its fair share of suicides, murders, and serial killer guest. The hotels deadly past was not known to a 21 year old Canadian tourist in town for the first time. Elisa Lam fell victim to this hotels troubled past, but was her death really an accident?
This episode I give you guys 3 very distinct but very strange stories involving alien abductions. The twist and turns of these stories make them seen made up but the evidence points to being true. From a pilot reporting strange aircraft following him, a woman taken from her bed and seen by dozens of people in New York City floating in a bright light into a UFO, or a military abduction that left a service member dead with multiple organs removed and all blood drained.
This episode I try to make sense of all the cryptic artwork and sculptures that reside inside and outside of Denver International. Time capsules donated by the Freemasons and a runway system that resembles a swastika. Could an underground tunnel system be underneath the airport? With construction going 18 months over the target date and $2 Billion over budget, it sure seems like something fishy is going on in Denver.
Story Time: Las Vegas
This episode I'm joined by my good friend Issac Preston as we discuss our recent trip to Las Vegas for Super Bowl weekend. Three straight days of drinking alcohol, urine shots, and ass shots will take Its toll on the strongest of people. Drunk filled stories about a group of friends in Sin City will be sure to never disappoint.
Ghost of Afghanistan / Giant of Kandahar
This episode I tell the stories about the group of Marines at OP Rock in Afghanistan who get terrorized and attacked by a paranormal force. Hearing whispers in their ear to a full on fire fight that never actually happened. I also tell the story of the Giant of Kandahar in Afghanistan that was a 11 - 12ft tall man with 6 digits on his hands and feet that was killed by a group of Special Forces Soldiers in 2002, all to be covered up by the military.
The largest passenger vessel at it's time in 1912 was the RMS Titanic, and it was deemed unsinkable. Just 5 days into her maiden voyage, she struck an iceberg and sank to her watery grave killing over 1,500 people. This episode I look into the many theories surrounding the Titanic that include financier JP Morgan collecting insurance money from the sinking, a fire inside the boiler room that lasted almost 2 weeks softening the steel hull, and an explosion on board and no iceberg in sight.
