Copywriting Is.. - Andrew Boulton - 009
Hello!
My guest today was the wonderful Andrew Boulton. Andrew is a copywriter and lecturer at the University of Lincoln.
Andrew's new book Copywriting Is.. is a wonderful book about all the small elements and nuances of being a copywriter.
Perfect for students to better understand how irrational the job is. Not only are you allowed to go for a walk as part of your job but you're also permitted to start sentences with 'And'. It turns out all those rules in English classes were wrong.
Enjoy the episode and grab Andrew's book here: https://www.harriman-house.com/copywritingis -

We ended up recording for an hour which honestly felt like 10 minutes, Ian is funny, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable and it made for a really brilliant chat. -
