Super Mom Bloggers - Non - Academic Learning at Home Chiming With Super Mom Bloggers

    • Opvoeding

Chimes Radio brings one more episode of “Chiming With Supermom Bloggers” where we discuss parenting and motherhood. In this episode, we have Vaishali S Sharma of “The Champa Tree”, our supermom blogger of the week. Our expert mommy shares her views on how parenting has changed over the years - from the 80s’ to 90s’ to the present 2020, there has been a vast shift. Earlier people used to live in a joint family but now families are dispersed into nuclear families. And as we all know, things change through generations. About the impact of Covid-19 on children, she say “The little ones stay in a scary world where they hear about the virus but hardly understand.” She suggests that this period is the perfect time to teach children about various things apart from bookish knowledge and regular subjects. This is the time to teach children life lessons and virtues like kindness, love, gratefulness, the meaning of family time, sharing beautiful moments, teaching household activities, etc. As parents, we now have the liberty to spend more time and interact with our children. So, people should take advantage of this situation and “encourage and motivate the kids”.
