Juventus beat Chelsea, and Man Utd beat Villarreal but the biggest upset came when Sheriff beat Real Madrid. Atletico leave it late to edge Milan and misery for Barcelona as they get humbled, 3-0, by Benfica.

The weekend started with a cracker, where Man City drop the first blow to Chelsea, and elsewhere, United and Liverpool drop points. Bayern keep their engine running in Germany, whereas Real Madrid fail to. Barca get a much needed victory, but Atletico lose. Lazio take home the Rome Derby, as Inter draw against Atalanta.

Chelsea and Liverpool have identical records as the Blues win London derby, City stumble and United grab a win thanks to late drama. In La Liga, only bad news for Barca as they play two straight draws and only joy for Real Madrid as they go top of La Liga. Mourinho is defeated for the first time but Inter, Napoli and Milan stay undefeated

United remain the only team from the PL without a win, as Chelsea, City and Liverpool get victories. Bayern thrash Barcelona in the highlight fixture, as Real Madrid leave it late to win against Inter. Not an ideal debut for the new 'MNM' as PSG struggle against Brugge. Atletico are held by Porto, while Juve enjoy a comfortable win against Malmo.

Another cracking gameweek concludes before the start of the UCL. City, Liverpool, Chelsea and United all got wins as Ronaldo and Lukaku headline PL. Mourinho got a win in his 1000th game, as Inter dropped points. Bayern trash Leipzig in the Bundesliga, and Dortmund edge a high voltage game. A Benzema hatrick sends Madrid at the top as Champions Atletico leave it late for all three points.

Another weekend comes to close with International football on its way. Bayern got their mojo back, while Haland scored late to get all 3 points. In the PL, Liverpool failed to break 10 man Chelsea, Man City trashed Arsenal who are rockbottom, and both United and Spurs got 1-0 victories. Real Madrid and Barcelona both managed to win their games while Atletico failed to, in the La Liga. In Italy, Roma, Milan and Inter continue their good run, while Juventus face defeat at home and in France Messi makes his PSG debut.
