I had a lovely conversation with Jackson Merrill's parents. They are couple of nice, down-to-earth people. Once you get to know them you can see where Jackson got all his good qualities from. I wrap the show up with a little talk about a player that got away and who has made some MLB history today.

UNBELIEVABLE! That is how I am summing up the Padres season so far. I have my voice back and invited Javier from LOCKED ON PADRES to come on and commiserate with me after we just watched the Padres lose another game to the pitiful Cardinals. Come join us- it is like therapy!

Once again, I have had the pleasure of chatting with another "Locked On" host. Jeff Ellis is the co-host of Locked On Guardians and he graciously spared some time to chat with me about Cleveland and its baseball team. Very informative and another person who knows his baseball. I was surprised to learn the Guardians are very similar to our Padres in many ways!
