Everyone is so consumed with this thing called balance and how it's suppose to look a certain way, when that is truly the furtherest thing from the truth. Balance is what looks and feels right to YOU! You can't balance the same way someone else does - you don't have the same lives for heavens sake.
It's important to take the tools given to you and use them in your own way, rather force yourself to follow a strict schedule and work at the pace that someone else does. I'm not saying you can't try a new way of life, but when that doesn't pan out, don't beat yourself up.

not another internet homie (hehe)I seriously am loving that I'm finding all my friends on the internet.anyways, this was a fun one! I interview Sara Carr who transitioned from the corporate world to the creative world. Personally, I think she has the upper hand. Most of us in the industry don't know jack shit about being a business owner, let alone how to manage people, and truly it's a major downfall.. I believe Sara is the epitome of "getting shit done". I find is so interesting that she started in the game later on in life yet has been able to take life by the horns.
